Everything here starts from the same stubborn position: if you cannot measure the improvement, you have not made one.
HALDEN was founded in Oslo in 2019 by two people who had spent a decade building monitoring rigs for other companies and had grown tired of watching good engineering lose arguments to marketing deadlines.
We sell direct because a distributor margin is roughly the cost of the driver. We publish one price and hold it all year, because a product that is worth £749 in March is worth £749 in November.

2019
A bench in Grünerløkka
Two people, one anechoic box built from a shipping crate, and a driver that measured badly in eleven different ways.
2021
The first window
The ±1.5 dB target is written down and, for the first time, enforced. Yield that year is thirty-one percent.
2023
Machining moves in-house
A five-axis mill arrives. Cup resonance drops below the noise floor of our own measurement rig.
2024
ONE ships
Eight years of driver work, sold direct, with a signed plot in every case.
